Cardinals’ Contreras gets 6-game ban for tirade

First baseman Willson Contreras was suspended for six games and fined an undisclosed amount for his tirade during the St. Louis Cardinals’ 7-6 win over Pittsburgh on Monday night, but the veteran has appealed the decision and was in the lineup Tuesday.
